The Easiest Microsoft exam: 70-683: Windows 7 Preinstalling for OEMs

Hello Friends,

I recently passed my 70-683 exam (Windows 7: Preinstalling for OEMs). I found this exam easiest of all Microsoft exams. Microsoft has specified very few objectives for the 70-683 exam.

The exam is all about deploying Windows 7 for OEMs. An original equipment manufacturer, or OEM, manufactures products or components that are purchased by a company and retailed under that purchasing company’s brand name.

Microsoft’s 70-683 test validates your skills and knowledge to efficiently use the Microsoft OEM Preinstallation Kit (OPK) and imaging tools to deploy and maintain Windows 7 desktops and additional tools. There are no specific prerequisites for the test 70-683.

In the earlier days of this exam, there were no specific study metarial on the Internet. But today you can get loads of study metarials for preparing for this exam.

I prepared for the 70-683 exam with the help of practice tests and study metarials provided by uCertify. I must say it helped me a lot for the preparation. You can visit to have a fail deal for the test 70-683.

Passing the 70-683 exam gives you an MCTS certificate. Before taking the 70-683 exam you must know the basics of Windows 7 deployment including various tools such as DISM, Windows SIM, ImageX, Oscdimg, Windows PE, etc. The 70-683 exam mostly moves arround these tools.
